Y4 Etruria Industrial Museum Blog

On the 7th November 18 Y4O went on an educational trip, where they had a tour of the long ship and a little look at the canal. After making a rug on the boat they were given an art project to do (sand model).
When they had finished the art project rain struck but Miss Callan did not want it to stop Year 4O’s fun and games. So they put on their coats, scarves and gloves and went outside to explore, however after 2 or 3 minutes the rain got heavier and heavier so they decided to go in, as they did not get to look at the full boat the teachers at the museum gave the children another activity to do.
I spoke to some of the children in Y4O and this is what they had to say;
“I think it was nice and fun and my favourite activity was making a rug on the canal when it started to rain I felt happy because we got to do an extra activity”.
“I was very surprised when Miss Callan said we are going to the Etruria Industrial Museum my favourite activity was the tour of the canal & I was pretty sad when we only saw a bit of the boat but it was fun know matter what happened”.
“I was pretty relaxed when Miss Callan said we are going on a trip when we got there my favourite activity was making a rug on the canal when I saw the rain I thought we could not go outside but Miss Callan said we will go out for a bit”.
“When Miss Callan said we are going on a trip I was happy and relaxed my favourite activity was looking around the boat I was happy when the rain started because miss said we will go out for 2 or 3 minutes after that we did an extra activity because we did not see all of the boat”.
“I felt happy when Miss Callan said we are going on a trip when we arrived there my favourite activity was when we had a tour of the canal when the rain started I was fine with it know matter what if we went outside or stay inside I will still have fun”.
“The teachers and the children all had fun and when we had to leave to back to school we all remember no matter what the weather is like we will always have fun.”
